In case y’all missed yesterday’s news, Air Jordan 13 officially unveiled their 2017 Holiday collection – including some already unveiled from back in September. Now we have info on each shoe’s release date, the stories and inspiration behind them and the addition of a few extra releases that have flown under the radar until now.
The two big releases being the Navy and Red Jordan 11’s that make up one half of the ‘Win Like Mike’ pack. The other half being a Low version of the 32 in the same colors that celebrate his 1982 NCAA championship and his 1998 NBA championship – the bookends of Michael’s on-court successes.
But the biggest surprise was the addition of the Air Jordan 13 Hyper Royal 2018 – in honour of Mike’s title as CEO and majority owner of the Charlotte Hornets. It consists of a Jordan 32 and 16 draped in a deep version of the Hornets colors, with Black, Dark Teal and a deep Purple. These colors work together too well, and I have to say, this is probably the best version of both silhouettes I’ve ever seen.

Move over Yeezy Boosts, there’s a new sheriff in town. LeBron James is back and better than ever. His basketball game is sick but his shoe game is even sicker. That’s right, James has officially debuted his new shoe, the Nike LeBron 15 For Sale. The debut of the shoe kicked off during NBA Media Day on Sept. 25.
Previous of the debut, James gave his fans a taste of the new look on his Instagram after posting a picture during NYFW with the caption, ‘Sheesh!!! The ‘Rat Pack’ was up to something at the NY fashion week. The ground didn’t deserve that guys.’
It is James’ 15th signature basketball shoe and was designed by Jason Petrie. The shoe consists of Flyknit fabric that fits to your foot with a sock-like construction for ankle support, as well as to prevent the sole of the foot from turning over when running and stopping quickly, as done in basketball. The base unit of the shoe is comprised of Max Air and Zoom Air with sustainable cushioning.
The LeBron 15 has a tight collar (the top of the shoe around the ankle) which provides extra support for the ankle. This tight collar does not hinder the ability to easily take the shoes off either. These shoes are designed with enhanced engineering skills. The ventilation, the cushioning, the support…it all contributes to what makes the LeBron 15 so special.
Now you would think that the PG 1 Black Gum would be specifically for the court. However, the LeBron 15 shoes can easily be worn on the street as your typical sneaker…besides the fact that they aren’t just your AVERAGE sneaker. They are a fashion statement on and off the court.
The shoe will be available eventually in an array of colors. These include colors such as ‘Ghost,’ ‘Ashes,’ ‘Wine’ and ‘Cavs,’ which consists of navy flyknit with wine red contrasting accents plus a hint of tan on the tongue pull tabs and heel pull tabs.
If Valley lets the suspense hang in the air any longer, you may not be able to handle it. Let us give it to you straight. According to Sneaker News, the LeBron 15 ‘Ashes’ will be released on Oct. 28, 2017 and will sell at the retail price of $185.
Wait, do you hear something? Oh yeah, it’s your feet crying out for the cushiony, cloud comfort of these Air Jordan 32 made from heaven.
A color with 25 years of history in the Air Jordan line will once again leave its mark on the Air Jordan 32 this fall.
Outside of the PSNY joints, the Air Jordan 12 hasn’t done abundantly well with its suede-decked iterations. One of the more noticeable shoes that sat was the ‘Blue Suede’ edition, which found its way to Sale sections on more than a few online retailers. But, dipping that same 12 in one of the brand’s most memorable color schemes is a different story.
Pictured above is an official look at the upcoming Air Jordan 12 Bordeaux. That buttery suede upper comes equipped with the complement of a Sail midsole and outsole. Metallic Silver details come via the lace eyelets and heel branding. Though suede on the 12 has been in a hit-or-miss run lately, this Bordeaux edition, it’s safe to say, should be in the former category.
This Fall-friendly iteration is due out on October 14th. Check out the pics above and let us know what you think in the comments section below. Is the Bordeaux banging? Or is this another suede pass? Please let me know at www.jordansunveil.com.
Following the release of the ‘Rosso Corsa’ colorway, Jordan Brand is now set to officially launch the Air Jordan 32 Low Banned aka Bred this month.
Dressed in a Black and University Red color scheme. Constructed with Nike’s Flyknit covering the upper with high-tenacity yarn that combines stretch, support and zonal lockdown. Its cushioned sole features a tuned-up Flight Speed technology that unleashes the energy of Zoom Air units. Finishing off the design is its herringbone traction pattern that delivers multidirectional grip.
Jordan Brand is officially set to release the Bordeaux Air Jordan 12 on Saturday, October 14th in Men’s, Gradeschool, Preschool and Toddler sizing. This Air Jordan 12 comes dressed in a luxurious Bordeaux suede upper with ballistic nylon overlays. Additional details includes Metallic Silver hitting the eyelets atop a Sail rubber outsole.
Cheap Jordans Brand has unveiled their latest collaboration with Aleali May. This Air Jordan 1 channels her Los Angeles roots. The Air Jordan 1 (her favorite of the brand’s silhouettes) Aleali May features high-end materials and lots of texture, including Black corduroy, which she said she chose because it reminds her of the house slippers from local LA markets her dad and uncle used to wear. Silver satin on the forefoot and heel along with Orange accents on the tongue and a chenille Grey Swoosh add dimension and tie back to vintage sport jackets.
