The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Bright Blue Drops This Weekend

It should come as no surprise that the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Bright Blue is making noise in the sneaker world. Over the past few years, the evolution of the Yeezy 700 silhouette has meant that fewer releases of the OG model have gone ahead. After the recent success of the ‘Cream’ 700 V2 however, it looks as though Kanye and adidas are going back to basics. Having been debuted by Yeezus last summer, it looks as though the ‘Bright Blue’ 700 will drop this weekend.
As you can see, this adidas Yeezy 700 has definitely earned its bright blue moniker. Constructed in the same leather, mesh and suede, the shoe dons a vibrant blue hue across most of the upper. Subtle contrasting features include a teal toe box as well as soft yellow laces and 3M reflective details. Of course, the equally as bright orange Boost midsole also helps too. The nice divider between the upper and sole also comes with black and grey accents, creating one of the boldest Yeezy 700 colourways we’ve seen in a long time.
If you like the look of the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 ‘Bright Blue’ then sit tight. At the moment, however, we’ve not seen much in terms of stockists. All we can do is hope that these end up dropping. Please follow us on FavSole.com.

The Nike KD 14 Releases In April

A sizable chunk of Kevin Durant’s season has been stripped from him due to his aggravating hamstring injury, but while he rests on the sidelines, he’s taking this opportunity to generate some noise off the floor by unveiling his newest signature shoe: the Nike KD 14. The new silhouette is vastly different from the KD 13, and features a duo of lockdown elements that are blended up with playfully styled uppers.
For his newest offering, the Brooklyn Nets’ superstar elects to cop his new model down to a mid-profile and employs a two-layered upper that features a synthetic underlay and abstract overlapping patterns. This Air Jordan 11 Low Legend Blue fills in the former with a punchy orange hue, while the latter contrasts in stark black. Perhaps the most intriguing component of the shoe is the mid-foot as it brings back the lockdown strap akin to the KD 4 and KD 7, as well as ushers in a medial side cage that is reminiscent of the Nike Air Presto. Below the Presto-inspired piece, tonal tally marks add up to 14 to nod to his newest model. More details to point out include that of KD’s logo that rests on the tongues, in addition to the synthetic heel counters that are embedded with wave-like textures.
Similar to that of Paul George’s Nike models, this hardwood-ready proposal brings in a full-length Zoom Air strobile cushioning system. From FavSole.com

Nike KD 14 Performance Review

With Kevin Durant focused on winning his 3rd Championship with the Brooklyn Nets, his 14th signature shoe was leaked. Whilst the transition from the KD 12 to the KD 13 was fairly minimal, the transition to the KD 14 is an overhaul of the existing silhouette.

Upper

Rather than the high-cut silhouette of the KD 12 and KD 13, the KD 14 opts for a mid-cut look. There seems to be a change in materials as the KD 14 uses thicker mesh compared to the minimal material build on the KD 13. The most obvious change is the addition of a mid-foot strap for additional lockdown. The strap on the KD line was first introduced in the KD 2. Since then, the strap would be in and out of the KD line until it was last used on the KD 7. The KD 14 will be KD’s fourth signature shoe to implement a mid-foot strap.

Midsole Cushion Set-up

The large TPU piece on the side of the midsole shows that Air Zoom technology will be implemented. Sources have stated that the KD 14 will feature full-length Air Zoom Strobel with Cushlon foam. Currently it is not clear on whether an additional Air Zoom unit will be added to either the forefoot or heel.

Outsole

Whilst it is difficult to see at an angle, the KD 14 looks to use a wave like pattern with long lines vertically spreading across the foot bed.

The KD 14 looks to be a entirely different shoe compared to the last two models. This is typical of the KD line since Kevin Durant is such a versatile player, his silhouettes have dramatically changed over the course of one shoe to another. With all of KD’s shoes known for excellent cushioning, we will have to see if the KD 14 will also perform as well as the others.

The Nike KD 14 is set for release on April 17 and will retail for $150.

The Kid’s Nike Air Force 1 Low White Fuchsia Glow With Pastel Stitching

Nike will be adding a perfectly timed rendition of the Air Force 1 Low to the growing Spring collection with a pastel stitched rendition for the kids.

Sitting atop a premium leather white base, we have subtle pastel-hued stitching in pink, yellow and purple for a unique design. Purple takes precedence for the inside of the shoe and sole unit, while a pop of pink is added for branding on the tongue and heel tab. The laces keep things clean in white, while beneath, you’ll spot a pink miniature Swoosh that Nike are loving adding to their AF1s as of late.

Bekiw the feet, we have that chunky Air sole unit we would expect on an AF1, with a lilac rubber outsole to offer top tier traction.

If you’re looking for a shoe understated enough to go with anything, but colourful enough to turn heads, then Nike Air Force 1 GS Stitch Purple Pink is the shoe for you!

A Closer Look at Nike Dunk Low PRM Medium Curry

Brand: Nike

Model: Dunk Low

Release Date: January 28

Editor’s Notes: As we’ve told you before, Nike is following up a stellar year for the Dunk by churning out a slew of general release colorways and high-profile collaborations alike. Today we get a look at one of the best GR colorways, which is set to release in just a matter of days.

Courtesy of official imagery, we see the Medium Curry Dunk Low done up in shades of Sail, Medium Curry, and Fossil. The 2021 Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” Will Feature Nike Air On The Heel

For any serious sneakerhead, the image of Michael Jordan in the Air Jordan 6 Carmine will be burned into their brain. As the first sneaker that earned His Airness an NBA Championship, the Jordan 6 is an important part of MJ’s career. Although there have been numerous retros of the AJ6, they’ve all opted to use the updated Jumpman on the heel. However, that all looks to be changing in 2021. We now have confirmation that the “Carmine” Jordan 6 will drop with Nike Air on the back.

This sneaker really needs no introduction but we’ll give you a quick history lesson. Constructed in white leather and contrasted with bright red nubuck on the panels, the “Carmine” is a perfect representation of Michael Jordan’s career. Padded ankle supports allow for quick turns, whilst the heel tab and tongue offer an easy solution to putting these on. An iced sole is an updated touch, but this 2021 retro has remained close to the OG. Complete with “Nike Air” on the heel, this is going to be one for the OG Jordan fans.

The news of the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” making a return is big in the sneaker community. For now, a rumoured release date of February 13th has been set, making these a perfect Valentines Day sneaker.

New Look: adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Mono Pack”

The biggest redesign to hit the silhouette since 2016’s “Beluga”, it completely does away with the Primeknit that we all know and love in favour of a newly-developed monofilament mesh that that’s similar to the side stripe found on some of the more recent colourways.

Unveiled in “Mono Mist”, “Mono Cinder”, “Mono Ice”, and “Mono Clay” colourways, the overall profile has been retained but everything else has been revamped. Working on top of a visible cage that we caught a glimpse of a few days ago, a stripe shoots from the top of the toebox all the way to the back of the shoe, uniting with the back pull tab that offers the ultimate slip in and slip out experience.

Plastic eyelets offer up a pretty rugged aesthetic, and down below you’ll find an adidas Boost midsole that’s as comfortable as it gets. While this Yeezy certainly isn’t made for the trypophobes out there, it’s a revamp that we welcome with open arms.

Yeezy Mafia haven’t confirmed any release dates just yet, but according to our own sources, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Mono Pack” will drop on June 21st. We’ll also get an additional colourway dubbed the “Mono Light” two months later on August 21st. Make sure you keep it locked at BuyTheSole for more news as it develops.

Best Look Yet at the Off-White Converse Chuck Taylor

Though his OFF-WHITE label, Virgil Abloh dropped eight Nike sneakers and the Air Jordan in 2017 as ‘The Ten’ collection. Now for May 2018, ‘The Ten’ collection will be made complete with an edition of the Off-White x Converse Chuck Taylor Hi.

The last of ‘The Ten’, Virgil Abloh’s hyped-up series is finally complete with the release of the Converse Chuck Taylor. A game-changer for the all-American icon, the open-source nature of the upper is taken from the ‘GHOSTING’ half of the collection – an idea to reveal and unite the models’ 94-years of combined history via semi-revealing translucent materials.

Transparent to let all the seams and construction shine through, in true Abloh style, ‘VULCANIZED’ lettering on the midsole and ‘SHOELACES’ insignia to the lacing demonstrate the cult designer codes. Finishing off the athletic high top, an orange zip-tie adds a pop of colour to complement the icy outsole.
